Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, creating a CA firm workspace, uploading records, or using any part of SumGST (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a partnership firm, LLP, company, or proprietary practice, you represent that you possess the legal authority to bind that entity.
2. Description of the Service
SumGST provides workflow organization, e-commerce marketplace sales report ingestion, tax figure reconciliation, and return working paper preparation software for Chartered Accountants and their clients.
All returns must be reviewed by a qualified Chartered Accountant or tax professional, filed through official statutory mechanisms, and recorded within the software after statutory completion. SumGST does not provide legal, statutory, or tax advice.
3. Account Registration and Access Security
- Authorized Representation: You agree to provide accurate and truthful registration details, including firm name, mobile number, and applicable GSTINs.
- Credential Confidentiality: Users are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of their authentication credentials and passwords. You must notify SumGST immediately of any unauthorized access.
- Client Authority: CA firms represent that they have received appropriate client consent to upload, process, and review source records and tax data for each assigned GSTIN.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
SumGST offers a 14-day free trial for newly registered CA firm workspaces. During the trial period, firms can add client GSTINs and test the full suite of reconciliation and preparation tools without entering payment card details.
Following the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Invoices are issued in Indian Rupees (INR) with applicable GST. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the firm billing dashboard.
5. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership
Your Data: You retain all right, title, and interest in all files, client profiles, marketplace records, and tax figures uploaded to your workspace. SumGST claims no ownership over your professional work papers or client data.
